   LaQuayle said, “It was so beautiful walking into an office everyday that had brown faces photographed on the walls everywhere I went, my experience at Essence was rewarding yet so humbling, it was one of the best summers of my life”.  

 

 

2015 Essence Ambassador, 

Asia said, “For essence to reach out and do a college tour and select Hampton out of three colleges speaks volumes.”

Asia also said, “For HBCUs, Essence is a journalistic outlet for the black students that attend these colleges and universities and to be the Essence Ambassador means so much to me because I am responsible for emulating a Hampton woman everyday on campus, but also what an Essence woman is”.
